It was pretty and all, but the jumps were sometimes kinda crappy.
Even if it is a sprite movie, slight coordinated movements in the air really make it alive, not just a single sprite rolling in an arc.

Your describtion about the game is actually accurate, I love the way you represent Vaan, I totally agree with your opinions about him. When I first bought this game, I thought "No way, please don't tell me HE is the main character, I mean look at that stomach and gay-face." Keep it coming! ^^

Heh, yeah... I was really disappointed when Reks died too. When it first starts up and you're in the middle of the war, it's like "Yes, this has the atmosphere of Tactics! This is going to rule!", and then Reks dies and... you're hunting rats in a sewer as pretty boy Vaan. And then it hit... "Damnit, this is what the rest of the game is going to be. Crap." But for that first 20 minutes, things were looking good. Oh well. Thanks for the comment!
